With a unique voice, an acoustic guitar, and a raw approach to song-writing, Ally Choo evokes her sound in light of coffee shops and lending ears. Born and raised in Campbell River, B.C, this eighteen year old indie/folk artist started singing when she was seven, claiming multiple awards from the North Island Festival of Performing Arts up until she was fifteen. In the spring of 2008, Ally picked up her first Fender and started strumming the simple chords that eventually led up to her own original sounds. Often described as soulful and emotional, Ally delivers her thoughts into lyrics, accompanied by soft acoustics and enlightening charisma. Despite her ardent love towards music, she is also a competitive dancer and a writer with a knack for short stories. 2010, Ally won first place in the Carihi: Short Story Writing Contest.
Ally has played at the Campbell River Salmon Festival for the past two years and is often a fan of sharing her talents at the local farmer’s market. This will be her last show before heading off to Vancouver to attend UBC in the fall.

Come on, meet us there... The espresso and coffee is as Charles Maurice de Talleyrand said years ago...

” Black as the devil, hot as hell, pure as an angel, sweet as love “
