Watching young lovers

In synchronized step as

They stroll down the mall

As if their last coupling is

Still not undone, an

Invisible umbilical

Tethering them tight to

Each other, a wall

Hiding everything and

Everyone else from

Their world, oblivious

To the seller of religious

Books silently shifting a

Screen to hide her

Browsers from this

Moment of human

Splendor,

Watching these lovers

Reminds me of our first

Meeting in the train station

Where I, in awe of your beauty

Was wonderfully and

Hopelessly embedded in

Your web of womanly wonder.
