I awoke to a lady walking Alone along the beach The tide almost stalking Her feet just out of reach, The wind weaving wonder In her long dark flowing hair Moonbeams loud as thunder Bouncing through the salty air, I could hear music humming Coming sweetly from her lips The waves all were drumming The rhythm of her moving hips, No words can I remember Thou I watched till nearly dawn Near the end of that September The Lady Of San Juan.
